Dr Rachael Kelly has over 20 years’ experience working across higher education, government, not-for-profit organisations and other regulated environments. She specialises in organisational review, stakeholder engagement and evidence-based evaluation.

Rachael has led stakeholder interviews, organisational reviews and impact assessments for clients in higher education, defence and the public sector. Her work focuses on gathering and analysing evidence, identifying key findings and producing reports and recommendations for senior leaders.

She has particular experience of working in complex multi-organisation environments involving universities, government departments, industry partners and charitable organisations. Her recent work has included reviews of organisational culture, leadership, governance and collaboration, as well as research into the challenges of research security within the higher education sector.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Rachael spent 17 years at King’s College London, where she held academic and leadership positions, including Deputy Head of Department. Her academic work focused on international relations, security and defence.
