Jodie Miller is a senior leader with 28 years’ law enforcement experience in the Metropolitan Police Service, specialising in governance, organisational review and assurance in high-risk, high-threat and highly scrutinised environments. She remains nationally accredited as a College of Policing senior investigating officer (SIO PIP3), and strategic investigator (PIP4), and served as an accredited Kidnap and Extortion SIO and Specialist Strategic Firearms Commander during her police service.
Most recently, Jodie has provided strategic coordination, governance and organisational assurance across an operational command unit consisting of over 2000 personnel. This included leading a major restructuring programme on behalf of executive leadership, developing and then leading on the command-wide implementation of a new people and culture Strategy.
Jodie has led many units including a 230-strong serious crime investigative workforce across North East London, setting standards for investigative quality and governance and introducing thematic review and organisational learning processes to identify risks and drive improvement.
She also brings direct experience of protective security and high-risk operational command, including counter-terrorism operations, major government events, and decision-making in time-critical, high-consequence environments.
