Gemma has extensive experience in complex workplace investigations, employee relations, employment tribunal litigation and workforce governance. She has personally led investigations across the full range of serious workplace matters — including whistleblowing, safeguarding, discrimination, serious misconduct and employment status disputes — within regulated healthcare, adult social care and multi-site commercial environments. She has acted as an organisational witness in Employment Tribunal proceedings and led the organisational response to an HMRC National Minimum Wage audit involving direct regulatory engagement across a workforce population of approximately 6,500 individuals.
Gemma is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and holds the Advanced Professional Certificate in Investigative Practice. She brings to Verita’s work both the investigative rigour of a trained independent investigator and the practical organisational insight of a senior HR leader who has operated at the most complex end of people risk for nearly two decades.
