Goddard inquiry

Verita colleagues who conducted the independent investigation about the governance of the paediatric service in which Myles Bradbury worked  – the consultant haematologist who was imprisoned for abuse at Addenbrookes – are currently speaking at a series of NHS England safeguarding events.  The events are aimed at sharing the lessons from the Bradbury investigation and preparing NHS organisations for the Goddard inquiry (IICSA).  We are distributing a safeguarding checklist at the meetings.  It may be something you and colleagues would find helpful for assessing your organisation’s readiness for the Goddard inquiry.

Ed Marsden, Barry Morris and/or our associate Sue Berelowitz would be very happy to help you with any safeguarding concerns.  Their details can be found at the back of the checklist.

If you would like to learn more about the Goddard Inquiry then please contact our Ed Marsden on 020 7494 5670 or [email protected].
