Verita has worked with NHS London to pioneer a new approach to mental health homicide reviews. The new approach is designed to give NHS staff the opportunity to participate in investigations in other London trusts and therefore to increase learning from mental health reviews. Verita was happy to support such a proposal and took on a project management role with Tariq Hussain supporting and facilitating NHS staff.
Tariq chaired the investigations and with the team scoped out the investigations to ensure that they were conducted smoothly and efficiently while maintaining their independence.
