Proportionate
We will always put forward a proportionate response to requests for our services. If an investigation, review or inquiry is not the most appropriate response, we will advise an alternative approach even if that means the loss of business.
Cost effective
We will make every effort to minimise costs and will only undertake work that is necessary to fulfil the terms of our agreements with clients.
Competent
We will only take on work that we can deliver to a high standard and for which the company is properly resourced. If we make a mistake we will put it right.
Truthful
We will maintain our independence at all times. If an outcome of an investigation creates a conflict of interest, or a potential conflict of interest, we will make it known as soon as possible and agree with all parties an appropriate method of dealing with it.
Confidential
We will take extreme care to maintain the confidentiality of information entrusted to us, and will only disclose information to a third party with the permission of the client or where there is a legal requirement for us to do so.
Timely
We will always seek to ensure that our work is carried out in a timely fashion and in accordance with agreements made with clients. Where unforeseen events make it difficult to meet agreed deadlines, we will notify clients as soon as possible.
Respectful
We treat our colleagues, clients and others with whom we work with dignity, fairness and courtesy and we will always make every effort to assist anyone who needs practical help or support to participate in our work. We will always work in ways that shows respect to religion, custom and culture, and protects and promotes the fundamental human rights of individuals.
Business like
We will follow strict business and quality-assurance systems at all times. Our terms of business and charges will be made clear from the outset, and the scope of our work set out in the terms of reference. All our consultants and associates follow our operational framework and quality assurance systems that cover every aspect of our work.
