n/a Verita provides practical advice and support from people you can trust. And because no two incidents or organisations are the same we tailor our service to meet our clients' specific needs.

Understanding our clients' needs

Whether we are conducting an investigation, project managing an inquiry or providing ‘pre-incident' consultancy advice, four factors distinguish Verita's work:

  • we take time to understand our clients' needs
  • we only use high-calibre, experienced professionals with sound judgement and integrity
  • we have tried and tested quality assurance systems - including a code of conduct - that underpin the quality and validity of our work
  • we pride ourselves on getting it right first time which saves time and money.

At the outset we establish a clear remit, timetable and budget and allocate a senior investigator with first-hand knowledge and experience of the issues to work on the project.

Our investigations, reviews and inquiries are conducted rigorously but discreetly and with the minimum of disruption, using tried-and-tested processes and methods including systematic investigative techniques. Where appropriate, we will devise a strategy for handling the media and, when the investigation is over, make sure that its conclusions and recommendations are communicated clearly. We arrange all the administrative and subsidiary services that may be required, such as transcribing witness statements. And if legal advice is needed we arrange that too.
