Tim Woodman
Tim Woodman graduated as a bachelor of medicine and of surgery in 1981. He held a variety of posts in rehabilitation medicine, palliative care, care of the elderly before becoming a GP in 1989. He combined his role as a GP with senior management positions with West Kent Health Authority, including three years as the board chairman of a primary care group, a post he held until 2002 when he became the medical director of a primary care trust. Although still registered as a GP, he now works as an independent consultant specialising in cross-organisational and multidisciplinary engagement in service redesign. Tim is currently working with a London primary care trust as interim medical director, and is carrying out a review of clinical governance at a GP practice in the Midlands.
