Alison Lowton
Alison, a solicitor by background, has worked in local government for over 20 years, most recently as a director of law and administration for the London Borough of Camden. Alison's local government experience includes eight years as a child care lawyer where she advised on serious case reviews and adoption panels. She has extensive corporate management experience and has a particular interest in ethical issues. Alison is a lay member of the Adjudication Panel for England, an independent tribunal for complaints about local authority councillors, and a trustee of Coram, a charity working with vulnerable children, young people and their families.
